These terms apply to your use of torontoballet.ca and to attending performances by Toronto International Ballet Theatre ("TIBT", "we", "us"). By using this site or attending a performance, you agree to them.

Tickets

Tickets for our performances are sold by Ticketmaster. Your purchase is governed by Ticketmaster's Terms of Use and Purchase Policy, which you accept when you buy. Our Refund Policy explains what happens if a performance is cancelled, postponed or moved.

Buy tickets only through the links on this site or on ticketmaster.ca. We cannot verify or replace tickets bought from resellers or other unofficial sources, and we are not responsible for them.

Programme and casting

We announce our cast and guest artists in good faith. Casting, guest artists and programme details may change, for example because of injury or illness. Under Ticketmaster's Purchase Policy, a change of cast or guest artists is not a reason for a refund.

At the theatre

Our performances take place at venues run by others, currently the Bluma Appel Theatre at the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts, operated by TO Live. The venue's rules on entry, safety and conduct apply. Latecomers may be seated at a suitable break, at the discretion of venue staff.

Photography and video or audio recording are not permitted during the performance.

Using this site

All content on this site belongs to TIBT or is used with permission. That includes text, photographs, video, logos and design. Photographs are credited to their photographers. You may view and share our pages for personal use. You may not copy, reproduce or use our content commercially without our written permission.

Links to other sites, including Ticketmaster and TO Live, are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

We work to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but it may contain errors or change without notice. The official details of your performance are the ones on your ticket and in your Ticketmaster account.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, TIBT is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or attendance at a performance. That includes travel, accommodation or other costs if a performance is cancelled, postponed or changed. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information you give us through this site.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. An update does not change the terms of a ticket you have already bought. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
